Maggie Spencer

Maggie has 7 dogs at the moment, but that is always changing as Maggie also runs a dog rescue and re homing service with her friend Karen, called Four Footers Rescue. We also have 3 Siamese cats and 1 Burmese cat who rules the roost. Our dogs at the moment are:-

Maggie trains all her dogs in Obedience and enjoys it as a hobby. She has worked Rio her Irish Setter in the Southern Team at Cruft's 2005. She started showing DJ in Breed and has done very well, winning 5 Best of Breeds and a Best Rare Breed in 2006. In 2007 he has won 5 Best of Breeds and Top Hovawart for 2007. Top Stud Dog 2009. Best of Breed Cruft’s 2010.

We took Tiggy and DJ to Austria in August 2006 for the IHF show and Got a Blue Ribbon with them Both. DJ getting a 5th in the final group. We Joined Elaine and John for the breeders class which we Won, but did not know we had until we came out of the ring and a friend told us. As the commentary was all in German.

We went to Kolne in June 2007 for the IHF show. Entering DJ against 30 other Male Hovawart's, Gaining an Excellent then placed 3rd in the final group.

We went to the IHF show 2008 in the South of France entering DJ and Grace. DJ got a 2nd place. We went with John and Elaine and there two girls Orchid and Whistle.

In August and September 2008 we went Holland. August DJ won Best of Breed and Grace 2nd and graded Excellent in Rotterdam . September DJ got Reserve Best of Breed and Grace was 1st in her class in Maastricht. We had a wonderful time at both shows being made to feel very welcome. We returned to Rotterdam and Maastricht in 2009 Winning Best of Breed with DJ Making him into a Dutch Champion.

Currently Maggie is training her PBGV which is proving to be a new challenge in her life.

She is now working Grace in obedience working A and B. And Dollar has started her training for Novice.
